Part 4:
The Rebellious Rosa Parks
Documentary Screening & Discussion

Join the AAHRC as we screen the documentary, "The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks."  By combining interviews, opinions, personal accounts, and actual footage of Mrs. Parks, the documentary unpacks her decades-long fight to challenge injustice.  Rosa Parks, a lifelong rebel, is a testament to the enduring power of dedication and activism.  Following the screening, a discussion of the documentary will take place to delve into the life of Mrs. Parks and combat the myth that she was just a tired seamstress who gave up her seat on the bus.  If you or your group is interested in attending the screening, please register below.  Free & open to the public; seating is limited. (Screening will take place in June of 2024; exact date will be announced).
