Youth Forum:
The AAHRC Youth Forum is a gathering of local youth that allows them to engage with each other in a youth-centered environment, showcase their talent, and participate in social justice related
activities and training.
Youth & Teen Panels:
AAHRC Youth & Teen Panels are designed to dialogue with young people in our community to discuss current events and community challenges that impact them. It is designed as a platform for young adults to share ideas and seek solutions in a judgement-free environment where their voice is valued.
MLK Day of Service:
"A Day on Not a Day Off." Observed annually on the 3rd Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
Community Clean-ups:
The AAHRC Community Clean-ups engage local youth volunteers to clean, repair, and improve community spaces and homes of the elderly. In doing so, they gain a sense of responsibility for their community and their neighbors.
